Introduction
Lo Ka Chung University Center is for the enjoyment of members of the University community including University staff and their family members, students and alumni. Users may be required to show their user identity cards on request. Under very exceptional circumstances and not to the inconvenience of the University community, some Lo Ka Chung University Center facilities may be booked by outside organizations on payment of a fee. The Campus Services Office will be able to provide information on the availability of the venues, booking arrangements and charges.

FACILITIES IN THE UNIVERSITY CENTER

Areas in the Lo Ka Chung University Center are named appropriately to reflect their intended purposes and usage. A brief description of the areas/facilities is given below. In the interests of tidiness and cleanliness, users are asked to confine the consumption of food and drink to those rooms where it is explicitly referred to in the text.

Quiet Lounge
@
An area for casual chatting, socializing and relaxing. Users can bring in drinks only from the Bistro or from the vending machine in the Health Lounge. Children are welcome but parents are asked to ensure that younger children are supervised at all times.
Seminar Room
@
A reserved area, to be used mainly for residential executive programs until a permanent use is identified.
Tin Ka Ping Hall
@
The TKP Hall is bookable for activities that accord with the cultural and reflective atmosphere of the Lo Ka Chung University Center. The TKP Hall should serve to accent an event and not to replace existing facilities already available at other parts of the campus.
Exercise Room
@ Fitness equipment for workout. Children under 12 are not allowed, because of the risk of injury.
Activities Room
@ Bookable for aerobic, dance, kung fu classes etc.
Staff Lounge
@ A leisure environment with beautiful seaview for staff members to have causal chat or inspirational reading. Magazines and newspapers are provided.
Restaurant & Bar
@
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the UC Bistro with the scenic view of Port Shelter is an ideal dinning restaurant where the food is pleasingly agreeable.
The Uni Bar is a place that invites you to come and enjoy the social opportunity in a relaxing and cozy environment.  With impeccable food and a full variety of wine choices, you can work, mingle and connect with your fellow colleagues and friends.
Music Lounge
@
This room is bookable for small recitals, music practice and appreciation. When it is not booked, users can bring in their own music to be played on the hi-fi, turning it into an "open house" music appreciation room.
Emeritus Professors' Lounge
This room is for emeritus professors only that provide a relaxed and comfortable meeting point to our retired faculty members when they visit the campus.
